Interactive Brokers (UK) Ltd is a global technology leader in Financial Services. We are experiencing rapid growth which has led us to search for an Office Facilities Coordinator to assist with our London Office.
As the Office Facilities Coordinator you will ensure that the facility is fully operational by collaborating and supporting the Facilities Manager and the Administrative team. You will be a key component in the operational success of our office operations. In addition to working internally, the Office Facilities Coordinator, will create, foster, and maintain relationships with our vendors.

We currently operate a hybrid working model at IBKR, and so you will be able to commute to our fantastic central London office (a stone’s throw from Liverpool Street station) 4 days per week, where you will be pleased to hear we offer lunch every day you are in the office from a selection of vendors.
Responsibilities

Ensure that all utilities functioning properly, including escalation to Office Facilities Manager
Schedule and supervise maintenance repair work and assist with checking installation and servicing building equipment
Supervise Office HVAC maintenance
Lead the process and actions of: Office desks moves, boardrooms set up, pantry appliances, lighting fixtures, restrooms maintenance, and supporting building maintenance/IB support teams when required to ensure smooth office operations
First line support of Printers, scanners maintenance. Coordinate with network team for configuration
Support the daily operation of physical access security tags for new hires/terminations & visitors
Moves, Adds, Changes to employee workstations. Basic connect/disconnect of IT equipment, full workstation set up/set down, floor box relocations, standard workstation/general support
Inventory Management – including ordering of equipment and consumables
Maintain space management
Support and promote the safety and wellbeing of the office and its staff 
Coordination with building management
Mail / Courier coordination
Support Lunch Vendor operation

Experience, Skills and Qualifications

Proven experience in facilities maintenance or equivalent related functions (desirable: experience with a FinTech Co in similar role)
Desirable: basic knowledge and understanding of IT set up of workstations/office environments
Knowledge of Health & Safety and Welfare requirements, and other environmental regulations (NEBOSH Certificate desirable)
Knowledge of general maintenance methods, operating requirements, and safety precautions related to facilities management
Team player as well as able to work independently
The ability to communicate with all levels of staff
Proactive “can do attitude” with the ability to support a busy office operation
Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs.
