This position is responsible for the East Zone, with two reporting Key Account Executives. Here at Kellogg, we care about and celebrate your success. This includes development of sales plans and responsibility for ensuring execution of all activities related to the account(s), both within your book of business as well as the accounts under your team. HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
Account Development – As a National Account Manager you will take ownership of your business by working with the appropriate levels and functions of the customer organization. You will identify key issues and generate creative solutions designed to strengthen the branded partnerships that go beyond the status quo while achieving breakthrough results.
Strategic Partnerships – Collaborating with key internal and external stakeholders you will develop strategic business plans for assigned accounts to drive for opportunities that sustain Kellogg’s competitive edge.
Analytics – Leveraging customer, industry and internal sales data during the sales process will be key to your success.
Budget Management – You will be responsible for Kellogg’s overall financial health and wellbeing of each customer’s product portfolio, trade and travel spend.
People Leadership – Putting your leadership skills to work you will create an environment that fosters and promotes independent thinking, intelligent risk-taking, and problem-solving by communicating expectations. You will coach and motivate your direct reports and broker partners through positive support, reward, and reinforcement. Encouraging participation, initiative, creativity, and ownership you will provide as much job autonomy as possible.
YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS
Foodservice industry experience in commercial restaurant national account sales
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Strong and professional interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to leverage data trends/insights to support selling proposition
Must have strong organizational and project management skillsets and the self-discipline to effectively work remotely
Culinary Development experience
Experience utilizing Salesforce
Sales management experience
The ideal candidate will reside in Atlanta, GA, or Florida region. This position covers a geography in the South East.
A flexible work schedule and the ability to travel overnight up to 30-40% of the time but may vary depending on location of residency.
This position provides participation in the Kellogg Auto Reimbursement program for individuals driving at least 5,000 business miles annually.
