Job Description

Individual contributor, a legal counsel to drive execution of contracting compliance related issues at the regional level in consultation with regional counsel in those jurisdiction;

Support in development & implementation of appropriate litigation policies, review and negotiate high volume, low value agreements, provide expertise to legal analysts;

Advise the business on all disputes and potential disputes with third parties in consultation with team lead. Monitor adherence to regulatory requirements;

Monitor constant updating of internal systems in line with evolving regulatory requirements; support the team lead in defining the direction of policies, agreements processes, standards or legal plans based upon business strategy, with a significant mid to long term impact on business unit overall results;

Good negotiation skills and business acumen to understand the commercial impact. Support on implementation and control around Strategic initiatives of the legal function.

Education & Experience
Education : LLB, LL.M ( will be an added advantage)    with admission to the bar in at least one relevant jurisdiction

Experience : 5-15 years post-qualification experience, gained in either private practice and/or  in-house
