Job Description:

Advance Auto Parts is urgently seeking Warehouse Workers in Lackawanna for our distribution center in Lackawanna, NY. Our Warehouse Associates play a crucial role in our warehouse operations, including but not limited to picking, packing, and staging parts, utilizing handheld radio frequency devices (RF scanners), and facilitating the movement of boxes within the Lackawanna distribution center.

Requirements to Apply for Warehouse Positions in Lackawanna:

• Must be at least 18 years of age to work in Lackawanna.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to work various shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays as required at our Lackawanna facility.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting documents such as safety rules, instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.

Preferred Skills: Previous warehouse training or experience in Lackawanna is preferred but not required.

Requirements to Excel as a Buffalo Warehouse Associate, Part Time $15.00 per hour PLUS an increase to $16.25 after one-year in Lackawanna:

• Ability to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach with arms, talk, and hear.
• Frequent kneeling and crouching may be required.
• Occasional sitting, climbing, or balancing, and regular lifting and/or moving of up to 25 pounds. Frequent lifting and/or moving of up to 50 pounds, and occasional lifting and/or moving of up to 100 pounds as needed to transport boxes within the Lackawanna distribution center.
• Specific vision abilities, including close vision, distance vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
