DoorDash Australia’s marketing team is a small but mighty group of specialists who work cross-functionally to deliver success across consumer, merchant, Dasher and partner workstreams.  They deliver value to all three sides of our marketplace, they drive results and work hard to further accelerate DoorDash’s incredible growth trajectory in the Australian market.

About the Role

We’re looking for a well-rounded, detailed-oriented marketer to support the execution of highly engaging, innovative sponsorship programs that build our brand and fuel our growth in Australia.

In this role, you’ll support the Marketing team to execute integrated marketing initiatives that position DoorDash at the centre of Australia’s most exciting sports and events.  Whether you’re designing campaigns to drive order volume on Grand Final night, filming TVCs with famous athletes or coordinating a ball delivery into a packed stadium, this role touches almost every marketing channel to deliver integrated sponsorship activation and drive traffic to DoorDash nationally.

You’ll also be responsible for the evaluation and measurement of these workstreams, digging into the data to understand where our customers & volume are coming from, which channels are most efficient and how we can be constantly optimising our performance.

You’ll work with our talented external stakeholder network; managing agencies, briefing creative, overseeing production and ensuring relationships with our partners are strong and fruitful.

This is a truly unique opportunity to build your marketing muscle across the full spectrum of sponsorship management – physical, digital, social, CSR and live activation.  The Marketing Team is lean and fast-moving, meaning you’ll have an immediate opportunity to take ownership and drive major impact on a rapidly-growing space within an exciting brand.  You will report into the Senior Partner Marketing Manager on our Marketing team in Australia, within our global Audience Marketing organisation.

You’re excited about this opportunity because you will…

  • Support the cross-functional activation of our sports sponsorship properties via paid media, sponsorship rights and benefits, DoorDash CRM and owned channels, partnered activations and live events
  • Conceptualise, develop and manage digital campaigns (briefing designers, trafficking assets to media, managing live channels and analysing performance)
  • Execute live events e.g. managing production agencies, on-ground execution and post-event ROI measurement
  • Produce exciting content across channels including TV, radio and social
  • Manage a complex but wonderful network of internal and external stakeholders and partners

We’re excited about you because…

  • You have 3+ years experience in integrated marketing, project management or sponsorships/events from an agency or in-house background 
  • You have strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate working teams comprised of multiple organisations and functions
  • You get a thrill out of delivering creative campaigns, and have a great eye for what works in market
  • You have experience in live events and understand the need for our brand to come to life when we’re engaging with consumers face to face
  • You have strong project management skills and the ability to keep the wheels spinning in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment 
  • You have an understanding of measurement, and can apply data insights to optimise our initiatives, accelerate growth and report on workstreams to the broader business with both granularity and big picture thinking
