Randstad is seeking an detail-oriented Accounting Manager for a premier, rapidly growing national leader in its specialized field. This is a hands-on role responsible for supervising daily accounting operations and ensuring the financial accuracy of a $25 million annual revenue company. This position is in-office at the corporate headquarters in Las Vegas, NV.

Compensation & Structure

  • Compensation: $80,000 - $90,000 Annually
  • Location: Las Vegas, NV - On-Site
  • Reports To: Chief Financial Officer (CFO)
  • Team Size: Directly supervises a team of 3 accounting professionals. Company has around 130 employees nationwide.

responsibilities:
The Accounting Supervisor will be responsible for the day-to-day oversight of the accounting department, ensuring efficient, accurate processing, and strong financial controls, and serving as a key operational resource for the CFO.

  • Execute and oversee the accurate and timely completion of the month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
  • Manage the full cycle of accounting for multi-entity operations, maintaining two separate sets of books and ensuring proper intercompany accounting and reconciliation.
  • Lead the financial consolidation process for the multiple entities.
  • Manage and maintain the fixed asset ledger for approximately $10 million in assets, including calculating and recording monthly depreciation and ensuring proper capitalization policies are followed.
  • Perform complex general ledger reconciliations and analysis.
  • Assist the CFO in the preparation of internal and external financial statements in accordance with GAAP.
Supervision & Operations

  • Supervise, train, and mentor a team of 3 accounting staff members (A/P, A/R, Jr. Accountant) to foster efficiency and professional development.
  • Be the hands-on primary user responsible for maintaining the general ledger and daily transactions within QuickBooks Online (QBO).
  • Ensure accurate and timely sales tax filings and compliance across various jurisdictions.
  • Manage and execute job costing analysis to track project profitability and support management reporting.
Compliance & Controls

  • Develop and implement efficient accounting procedures and policies in line with CFO directives.
  • Ensure strong internal controls are maintained to safeguard company assets and ensure the integrity of financial data.
  • Assist the CFO with external audit preparation and requests.
 
qualifications:
Required Experience & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • 4+ years of progressive accounting experience. No Supervisory experience is required.
  • Mandatory hands-on expertise with QuickBooks Online (QBO) is required.
  • Must have experience with multi-entity accounting, intercompany transactions, and financial consolidations.
  • Proven experience with sales tax reporting and compliance across multiple states/jurisdictions.
  • Required experience in accounting for fixed assets (e.g., managing depreciation schedules and asset disposals).
  • Proven ability to manage, analyze, and report on job costing to accurately determine project profitability, including material, labor, and overhead allocation.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, etc.).
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
