Responsibilities

1. Ensures the integrity of accounting information by recording, verifying, consolidating and entering transactions.
2. Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account
information.
3. Maintains and balances subsidiary accounts by verifying, allocating, posting and reconciling transactions and
resolving discrepancies.
4. Maintains general ledger by transferring subsidiary accounts, preparing a trail balance and reconciling entries.
5. Assist in the annual budget process and report progress Vs budget during the year
6. Summarizes financial status by collecting information and preparing balance sheets, profit and loss statements,
and other documents.
7. When necessary, completes external and internal audits by analyzing and scheduling general ledger accounts and
providing information for auditors.
8. Avoids legal challenges by complying with legal requirements.
9. Participates in re-costing of products/items.
10. Protects organizations value by keeping information confidential.
11. Approves/setup new suppliers.
12. Other duties as assigned.
