Randstad is seeking a motivated and experienced Accounts Receivable Supervisor on behalf of our client, a leader in the distribution industry. In this critical role, you will guide the company's receivables and credit functions, mentor a dedicated team, and protect the company's financial health.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a hands-on leader to make a significant impact on financial operations.

salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year
shift: First
work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

Responsibilities

Supervises, coaches, and develops the A/R team. Prioritizes team workload and ensures accuracy and timeliness in invoicing, posting, and collections. Establishes accountability and performance metrics for the A/R function (aging, DSO, collection efficiency).
Ensures timely and accurate billing, including credit memos and portal submissions; streamlines and documents workflows for billing, posting, and collections. Owns collections strategy, ensuring proactive customer outreach and handling escalated disputes or delinquent accounts with professionalism.
Supports the credit review and approval process, including establishing and monitoring customer credit limits and terms within assigned limits.
Conducts credit checks and financial statement reviews on new and existing customers; identifies deteriorating credit conditions and recommends solutions.
Drives customer adoption of Versapay online payment tool.
