Reporting to the Plant Engineer, you will oversee the maintenance and engineering functions of the facility. You are responsible for ensuring that all physical infrastructure and production machinery are maintained at peak performance levels to eliminate mechanical downtime. You will champion a world-class maintenance strategy, integrating modern methodologies to ensure our manufacturing processes remain at the forefront of technology and reliability.

Key Responsibilities
- Capital Project Leadership: Lead the development and execution of capital projects. Ensure all initiatives are delivered on schedule and within budget while minimizing disruptions to active production. Collaborate with senior engineering leadership to maintain strict safety, quality, and environmental compliance.
- Strategic Maintenance Systems: Implement and manage high-performance maintenance programs, including Preventive/Predictive Maintenance and Total Productive Maintenance (TPM). Optimize resource scheduling to increase plant capacity and significantly reduce unscheduled equipment failures.
- Team Leadership & Safety: Direct the maintenance staff by delegating clear responsibilities and enforcing company policies. Act as the primary advocate for facility safety, conducting training and monitoring procedures to foster a secure and motivated work environment.
- Technical Troubleshooting: Serve as the primary technical expert for complex equipment issues. Provide daily support to operations teams to resolve hardware failures rapidly and implement long-term engineering solutions to prevent recurrence.
- Performance Metrics (KPIs): Develop and track key performance indicators, including Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE), equipment reliability, and vendor performance. Use these insights to drive continuous improvement across the facility.
- People Development: Promote a positive workplace culture through active coaching, professional development, and mentorship of the maintenance team.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- Experience: 5+ years of engineering experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment, with at least 2+ years in a leadership or supervisory role.
- Technical Expertise: Advanced proficiency in mechanical and electrical systems, including PLCs, instrumentation, and industrial automation.
- Systems Knowledge: strong command of CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Operational Skills: Proven ability to manage resource planning in large-scale industrial settings and a deep understanding of work-order processes and TPM methodologies.
- Communication: Ability to articulate technical concepts clearly to diverse audiences through written reports and oral presentations.
