  Location: Woodridge, IL Shift Options:

  • 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM ? 11:30 PM Pay: $70,000?$85,000/year + Overtime

Role Summary: Randstad USA is hiring a Production Supervisor for a full-time, direct hire opportunity with a growing manufacturing company in Woodridge, IL. This role is responsible for leading production team members, managing shift activities, and ensuring that safety, quality, and throughput standards are consistently met. Qualifications & Skills: Minimum:

  • 4+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment

  • Prior experience leading or supervising shift operations

  • strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills

  • Familiarity with safety and quality standards in a production setting

Preferred:

  • 6+ years of manufacturing leadership experience

  • Experience implementing process improvements or working with high-volume production teams

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods

  • Lift up to 50 lbs occasionally

  • Work in hot, cold, or noisy environments as needed

Compensation & Benefits:
  • Salary: $70,000?$85,000/year + Overtime

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and lead production staff during assigned shift

  • Analyze production schedules and adjust labor assignments accordingly

  • Inspect raw materials and verify inventory readiness for changeovers

  • Conduct safety, quality, and housekeeping walkthroughs

  • Resolve issues through effective coaching, conflict resolution, and team development

  • Improve production processes and drive continuous improvement across operations

  • Track and manage team time and attendance records

  • Communicate production goals and quality expectations to team members
