In this role, you will be responsible for the daily transport and delivery of fresh and frozen wholesale products to a variety of high-volume clients across the Las Vegas valley, including casino resorts and local restaurants. Operating out of North Las Vegas, your day begins with an early morning shift, typically starting between 3:00 AM and 5:00 AM. You will be tasked with conducting pre-trip vehicle inspections, accurately loading your truck based on route manifests, and navigating specialized loading docks efficiently. Because you will be interacting directly with diverse kitchen teams and chefs, professional fluency in both English and Spanish is required to confirm orders and resolve delivery discrepancies on-site. This is a physically demanding position that involves frequent lifting of heavy crates in a refrigerated environment. You will be the primary point of contact for our client?s customers, ensuring every delivery is completed safely, on time, and with high attention to detail.

Responsibilities



  • Accurate Order Fulfillment: Verify all seafood products against the invoice before leaving the North Las Vegas facility to ensure zero-error deliveries.
  • Safe Vehicle Operation: Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the delivery vehicle (Box Truck/Bobtail) to ensure mechanical safety and cleanliness.
  • Cold Chain Management: Monitor and maintain the temperature of the refrigerated cargo area to preserve the quality and safety of fresh seafood products.
  • Efficient Route Navigation: Use GPS and local knowledge to complete delivery windows on time, adjusting for Las Vegas traffic and "Strip" loading dock delays.
  • bilingual Customer Service: Act as a bridge between the company and clients, answering product questions and resolving delivery issues in both English and Spanish.
  • Physical Loading/Unloading: Safely transport heavy crates and boxes from the truck into customer walk-in freezers or prep areas using hand trucks and dollies.
  • Payment & Signature Collection: Handle COD (Cash on Delivery) payments accurately and ensure all invoices are signed and time-stamped by the customer.
  • Issue Reporting: Immediately communicate any delivery discrepancies, product quality concerns, or vehicle maintenance needs to the VP or Dispatch.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Adhere to all DOT regulations, health department food safety protocols, and local traffic laws.
  • Warehouse Support: Assist with pulling orders or organizing the warehouse during downtime or before departing on the morning route.
