The HR generalist will perform a broad range of human resources duties, from recruiting and onboarding new hires to managing employee benefits, performance, and compliance with labor laws. You will act as a point of contact for employee questions, assist with training and development, and contribute to a positive work environment and employee satisfaction. Key responsibilities also involve implementing HR policies, managing payroll, and supporting employee relations.
  • Must be fluent in both Spanish and English.
  • Must have excellent computer skills in a Microsoft. Must include Excel and demonstrated skills in database management and record keeping.
  • Must have ability to function in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and pivot as necessary.
  • Must have effective oral and written communication.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.
  • Must have excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

  • Recruitment and hiring: Post job openings, screen resumes, schedule interviews, and manage the hiring process. 
     
  • Onboarding: Guide new hires through the onboarding process, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience. 
  • Benefits and compensation: Administer employee benefits programs and assist with payroll. 
  • Performance management: Track and review employee performance, conduct performance reviews, and help with employee development. 
  • Employee relations: Serve as a point of contact for employee questions and concerns, and help resolve workplace issues. 
  • Compliance: Ensure the organization adheres to all relevant labor laws and regulations. 
  • Training and development: Coordinate training programs and support employee career growth. 
  • Policy implementation: Help develop and implement company HR policies and procedures.
