Randstad Staffing is hiring for a CNC Swiss Machinist in St. Michael, MN. We are seeking a machinist who is proficient in performing Swiss machine setups and committed to expanding their technical capabilities.  Machine Brands: Star, Tornos and Pneumera Shift: 1st Schedule: Monday to Friday Hours: Flexible (get your 40 hours in per week) Pay: $25-35 per hour Type: Direct Hire / Full-Time Employment  Qualifications:
  • 1?2 years of experience in a CNC machining environment preferred.
  • Proficiency in CNC machine setup required.
  • Familiarity with CNC Swiss machine operation and basic understanding of Swiss-type machines.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and machining documentation.
  • Experience with measurement tools including micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
  • Basic understanding of G-code and ability to make minor program edits.
  • Willingness to learn and grow into more complex setups and advanced machining processes.
  • Proficient attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

Operate CNC Swiss machines safely and efficiently in accordance with company
procedures.
_ Perform CNC machine setups, including loading tools, materials, and making
necessary fixture or tooling adjustments.
_ Demonstrate proficiency in setup processes and show readiness to learn progressively
more advanced and complex setup techniques.
_ Edit existing CNC programs under supervision to improve dimensional accuracy and part
quality.
_ Adjust tool and work offsets to maintain tight tolerances.
_ Monitor production, perform in-process inspections, and ensure part conformance using
micrometers, calipers, microscopes, and gauges.
_ Record inspection data and production metrics accurately.
_ Assist with troubleshooting minor machine or tooling issues.
_ Work collaboratively with team leads and senior machinists to enhance processes and
improve efficiency.
_ Support continuous improvement efforts and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
