We are seeking a skilled Assembler & Team Lead to join our production team. This role requires a blend of high-precision technical assembly and leadership to ensure manufacturing goals are met with excellence. Proficiency in Spanish is a plus. Requirements and Qualifications _
  • Experience: Minimum of 3+ years of electro-mechanical assembly experience.

  • Leadership: Proven experience in a Team Lead or supervisory role, with the ability to create focus and be solution-oriented.

  • Technical Skills:

    • Ability to read and interpret technical data such as blueprints and specifications.

    • Proficiency in using specialized hand tools and inspection tools.
    • Knowledge of quality systems like Aerospace Standards (AS9100/AS9110).
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills to present information to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Software: Proficient in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat.

  • Work Style: Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment with minimal direction.

Schedule & Benefits
  • Hours: Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM ? 3:30 PM (and/or as needed).

  • Pay: Hourly rate is commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

  • Production Leadership: Supervise and mentor the assembly team to maintain high productivity and preserve the integrity of production.
  • Electro-Mechanical Assembly: Perform precision assembly of pumps, gears, and machined components for the aerospace, government, and industrial sectors.

  • Quality & Compliance: Ensure all work performed meets quality standards and is accomplished according to technical prints and defined processes.

  • Problem Solving: Lead root cause identification and suggest improvements to procedures related to the quality management system.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Shop Operations and Engineering to ensure maintenance and repair work meet customer requirements.

  • Team Development: Provide training and mentoring to team members regarding regulations, policies, and best practices.
