Pay: $27?$35+/hr DOE
Role Summary
We are looking for a Filling Maintenance Mechanic with strong electrical and mechanical skills to support high-speed liquid filling, capping, sealing, and packaging lines. This role is essential for maintaining production quality, minimizing downtime, and keeping equipment running safely and efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Qualifications & Skills
__ Previous experience maintaining high-speed filling or packaging equipment required. __ strong knowledge of mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and pumps. __ Solid electrical troubleshooting skills (wiring, sensors, relays, solenoids, pushbuttons). __ Ability to read electrical diagrams and follow NEC-aligned practices. __ Experience in food, beverage, pharmaceutical, or liquid filling environments preferred. __ PLC troubleshooting experience is a plus (no programming required). __ Able to lift up to 55 lbs and work on your feet most of the shift. __ Team-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
Bonus Experience: ? Plastics manufacturing or blow molding background (not required but helpful).

Responsibilities
__ Diagnose and repair issues on liquid fillers, cappers, sealers, labelers, conveyors, and packaging lines.
__ Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic failures in real time.
__ Repair motors, pumps, valves, solenoids, gearboxes, belts, and other machine components.
__ Work with AC (480?120V) and low-voltage DC controls for line troubleshooting.
Preventative Maintenance (PM)
__ Perform scheduled PMs to reduce unplanned downtime on fillers and support equipment.
__ Inspect, lubricate, adjust, and calibrate line components for accuracy and consistency.
Technical & Mechanical Skills
__ Read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
__ Use precision tools such as multimeters, torque tools, calipers, and dial indicators.
__ Perform basic welding or fabrication (MIG, TIG, plasma) when needed.
__ Make mechanical adjustments during changeovers for bottle size, fill volume, torque, and speed.
Production Support
__ Work closely with machine operators and supervisors to keep lines running smoothly.
__ Complete work orders and maintenance documentation accurately.
__ Support continuous improvement and efficiency initiatives.
