Inside Sales Representative (Solution-Based Sales) Location: Oxford, CT (100% Onsite)
Pay: $45,000-50,000 Base + Commission (OTE $60,000)
Role Overview Join a global leader in precision weighing equipment. We are seeking a proactive "hunter" to drive growth through our dealer distribution network. This is a solution-based sales role; you will identify business challenges for dealers and provide technical equipment solutions for the laboratory, medical, and industrial sectors.
Core Responsibilities
- Dealer Development: Manage and grow a portfolio of existing and potential dealers via high-volume outbound calls.
- Lead Generation: Prospect for new business and manage an active quote pipeline in Zoho CRM.
- Consultative Selling: Analyze dealer business cycles to create persuasive proposals and overcome technical objections.
- Product Expertise: Become a subject matter expert on our precision scales and balances to provide high-level advice.
- Team Support: Provide critical sales support to the Outside Business Development Managers.
Requirements
- Experience: 2?3 years of Inside Sales experience required.
- Methodology: Must have a background in solution-based sales (e.g., printers, office equipment, or technical hardware).
- Industry: Previous experience in distribution or dealer-based sales is ideal.
- Skills: strong negotiation, "above average" verbal rapport-building, and high-volume outbound call experience.
- Mindset: Results-driven, independent, and thrives in a KPI-driven environment.
