Our client, a global leader in high-specification manufacturing for the aerospace and defense industries, is seeking a self-motivated Inside Sales Representative to join their Branford team. This is a "hybrid" role that blends professional business development with high-level administrative coordination.

What You?ll Do:
  • Sales Prospecting: Use LinkedIn and industry databases to research new business opportunities and proactively engage prospects through cold calling and outreach.

  • Pipeline Management: Own the accuracy of the CRM, ensuring all sales opportunities, forecasts, and follow-up actions are current and reliable.

  • Customer Coordination: Manage the full order cycle?from responding to RFQs and processing purchase orders to coordinating delivery needs and resolving customer concerns.

  • Field Support: Partner closely with external sales representatives to help convert opportunities into orders.

  • Industry Events: Occasionally travel to attend and support industry trade shows.

What We?re Looking For:
  • Experience: 1?3 years in a customer-facing sales or administrative role (manufacturing or technical environment experience is a plus).

  • Tech Savvy: Proficiency in CRM systems, MS SharePoint, and online prospecting tools.

  • Ownership: A self-starter who can multi-task and manage complex technical documentation with extreme accuracy.

  • Requirements: Must be a US Person (Passport holder or permanent resident) due to industry-specific federal regulations.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Document customer contacts and activity within company CRM and distribute to appropriate sales personnel.
  • Assist external sales personnel in converting sales opportunities to orders.
  • Follow up regularly with sales representatives on open and unresolved customer opportunities and quotations.
  • Partner with the Sales Manager and external sales representatives to continuously improve CRM data quality, opportunity hygiene, and pipeline visibility. 
  • Resolve customer concerns promptly and tactfully.
