Overview Our client is a dedicated personal injury law firm committed to advocating for the rights of injured individuals to ensure they secure just compensation. We are currently seeking an organized, administrative professional with a stable work history to join our expanding Consumer Class Action department.
Core Responsibilities
- File & Case Management: Initiate the opening of legal files and maintain meticulously organized client records within the ATO case management system.
- Documentation: Process, scan, and organize various authorizations, legal forms, and demand package materials.
- Claims Support: Report new claims to insurance providers, request policy details, and systematically follow up on insurance records.
- Record Procurement: Facilitate the acquisition and management of medical records, bills, various reports, and multimedia evidence (tapes/videos).
- Correspondence: Draft and distribute official letters on behalf of the legal team while managing both incoming and outgoing mail for paralegal staff.
- Client & Provider Liaison: Obtain physical status updates from clients and provide necessary insurance coverage information to medical providers.
- Administrative Assistance: Post invoices, file pre-litigation documents, and support paralegals with various administrative tasks as assigned
- Meeting Support: Attend client meetings and, if proficient, provide Spanish translation support for attorneys and paralegals.
Professional Skills & Requirements
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to professionally interface with insurance adjusters, medical providers, and clients.
- Technical Proficiency: strong computer skills with a focus on accuracy and completeness in data entry.
- Organization: Highly detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a growing business environment.
salary: $50,000 - $55,000 per year
