e are seeking a results-driven Maintenance Manager to oversee the installation, repair, and upkeep of our facility?s operations. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on leader responsible for ensuring that all production machinery and infrastructure operate at peak efficiency (targeting 85%+ OEE). You will lead a cross-functional technical team, manage vendor relationships, and spearhead our Preventative Maintenance (PM) programs to minimize downtime and reduce operational costs.
Key Responsibilities
- Operational Oversight: Direct day-to-day maintenance activities for the manufacturing facility, ensuring all equipment is calibrated and functioning for optimal production.
- Team Leadership: Manage and train a team of technicians, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and high performance.
- Cost Management: Optimize the maintenance budget by renegotiating service contracts and managing the procurement of spare parts to keep inventory lean.
- Preventative Maintenance: Implement and oversee a robust PM schedule to extend machinery lifespan and reduce emergency repair costs by at least 15%.
- Safety & Compliance (EHS): Serve as a key representative for EHS, ensuring 100% compliance with OSHA and State regulations. Maintain all safety records and conduct regular equipment safety audits.
- Strategic Liaison: Work closely with Plant Operations and international stakeholders to integrate new technologies and streamline global supply chain logistics for technical components.

Position Requirements:
- Must have experience with Microsoft Office and general computer knowledge.
- Must be knowledgeable in all MIOSHA and Labor Laws.
- Must be certified internal auditor within 12 months of hire.
- Must be able to manage others and delegate with good communication skills.
- Pays great attention to detail.
- Must be able to read a tape measure and know decimal to inch conversion.
- Must have experience in understanding steel defects.
- Must have experience with heavy machinery.
- Must have working knowledge of building systems and maintenance.
Job Duties Include, but not limited to:
- Oversee all plant operations and evaluate production numbers.
- Environmental Management Representative, responsible for compliance to ISO14001 Standard.
- Create and hold meetings to go over production, toolbox safety, etc.
- Approve payroll for plant employees.
- Cross train employees to ensure plant is running effectively and efficiently and all positions can be covered if needed.
- Verify pricing for required orders.
- Reviewing customer specifications if needed and contacting correct personnel to fix any discrepancies.
- Create reports for cost savings efforts and report.
- Review and report production costs.
