Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial equipment (mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic).
  • Diagnose and resolve complex machinery issues efficiently to minimize downtime.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Execute repairs, rebuilds, and installations of equipment components.
  • Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including LOTO procedures.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records.
  • Collaborate with production teams to optimize equipment performance.
Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic.
  • strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot effectively using various tools and diagnostic methods.
  • Welding, fabrication, and machining skills a plus.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment (e.g., inspecting, lubricating, cleaning, adjusting).
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues in production equipment.
  • Repair or replace defective parts, components, and systems using hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to understand equipment operation and repair procedures.
  • Operate a variety of shop equipment, including lathes, milling machines, grinders, and welding equipment.
  • Conduct routine inspections of machinery to identify potential problems and ensure safe operation.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols, lockout/tagout procedures, and company policies.
  • Collaborate with production personnel and other maintenance team members to minimize downtime and optimize equipment performance.
  • Install new machinery and equipment, ensuring proper setup and calibration.
  • Perform basic electrical work, including wiring, motor control, and sensor replacement.
  • Respond to emergency breakdowns and provide timely and effective repairs.
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
  • Order and manage spare parts and supplies needed for maintenance tasks.
  • Train and mentor less experienced maintenance personnel when required.
