Role Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Maintenance Mechanic with strong electrical and mechanical expertise to join our manufacturing team. The role involves troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining industrial packaging and production equipment while ensuring the highest safety and maintenance standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
__ Previous experience in industrial maintenance required. __ Working knowledge of electricity, pneumatics, gearboxes, hydraulics, and mechanical troubleshooting. __ Experience with liquid filling, carton erectors, cappers, conveyors, case packers, labelers, and palletizers. __ Blow molding experience (Uniloy or Bekum) preferred. __ strong troubleshooting skills with PLCs (Allen Bradley preferred). __ Ability to set up TCP/IP communication between PLCs and a laptop to program, edit, reset, and download machine programming. __ Ability to clearly explain the differences between NPN and PNP sensors. __ ?Electrical/Controls/PLC guru? mindset ? comfortable tackling advanced electrical and controls challenges. __ Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment. __ Comfortable standing/walking for 80?90% of shift and lifting up to 55 lbs. __ Flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities
__ Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment breakdowns involving mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components.
__ Perform changeovers and setups on assigned equipment and production lines.
__ Tear down and rebuild defective machinery, replacing motors, gearboxes, clutches, bearings, and electrical units.
__ Maintain and service facility support equipment.
__ Work with AC (480?120V) & DC low voltage controls for troubleshooting electrical issues.
__ Assist line workers and supervisors in ensuring smooth operations.
__ Improve changeover procedures for efficiency.
__ Follow all safety policies and procedures, including PPE requirements.
__ Participate in special projects, meetings, and equipment improvements.
__ Set up and configure TCP/IP communication between Allen Bradley PLCs and laptops to program, edit, reset, and download machine programs.
__ Troubleshoot, test, and calibrate sensors, with the ability to explain and apply differences between NPN and PNP sensor types.
__ Perform advanced PLC troubleshooting to minimize downtime, including fault recovery, program adjustments, and minor logic edits.
__ Support controls-related projects, collaborating with engineering and production teams to enhance automation reliability
