The Role As a Maintenance Technician, you will ensure the reliability of advanced packaging equipment, including high-speed converters and state-of-the-art stretch-wrap monitoring systems. You will work in a fast-paced environment where your technical expertise directly impacts efficiency and environmental sustainability.

Key Responsibilities

Maintenance & Repair: Perform routine preventative and corrective maintenance on stretch wrappers, shrink tunnels, case erectors, and corrugated converting equipment.
Electrical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and repair 3-phase motors, sensors, relays, and PLC systems (specifically Allen-Bradley or Siemens).
Mechanical Systems: Maintain and repair pneumatic systems, hydraulic power units, gearboxes, and conveyor systems.
Innovation & Efficiency: Collaborate with our engineering teams to implement equipment upgrades that reduce material waste and improve energy efficiency.
Safety & Compliance: Maintain a clean, safe work environment in accordance with OSHA standards and company-wide safety initiatives.
Documentation: Utilize a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track work orders, parts inventory, and machine downtime data.

Required Qualifications

Experience: 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a packaging, printing, or high-speed manufacturing environment.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading blueprints, electrical/mechanical schematics, and ladder logic.
Tools: Proficient with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment (multimeters, etc.).
Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders, and stand for extended periods.

Preferred Skills (The Competitive Edge)

Experience with Fanuc or similar robotic palletizing systems.
Familiarity with stretch film application technology and load-containment standards.
