Full time-Direct hire, Monroe, NC- Local client is seeking an experienced Industrial Engineer from working within a manufacturing environment. Candidate must have previous experience working with manufacturing projects on the plant floor. Bachelors degree is preferred Client is offering full benefits, 401 K, base salary and a tremendous work culture.

responsibilities:

Analyze existing manufacturing processes to identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement.
Conduct time studies, work sampling, and process mapping to gather data and understand current state performance.
Apply lean manufacturing principles (e.g., Value Stream Mapping, 5S, Kaizen) to eliminate waste and optimize workflows.
Develop and implement improved layouts, material flow systems, and work methods.
Develop and implement strategies to increase production efficiency and reduce cycle times.
Manage and execute industrial engineering projects from initiation to completion.
