Maintenance Mechanic ? 1st, 2nd & 3rd Shifts Available

(Repair, troubleshoot, and maintain blow molding and industrial packaging equipment.)

Location: Woodridge, IL Shifts Available: ? 1st Shift: 7:00 AM ? 3:00 PM (M?F, OT as needed) ? 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM ? 11:00 PM (M?F, OT as needed) ? 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM ? 7:00 AM (M?F, OT as needed)

Pay: $27?$35+/hr DOE

Qualifications & Skills __ Industrial maintenance experience required (plastics or blow molding strongly preferred). __ Hands-on experience with blow mold machinery, extrusion systems, parison controls, heaters, and mold changes. __ Working knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, 3-phase motors, pumps, conveyors, and gearboxes. __ Experience with downstream packaging equipment: liquid fillers, carton erectors, cappers, conveyors, labelers, case packers, and palletizers. __ Ability to work both independently and with production teams. __ Comfortable standing/walking most of the shift and lifting up to 55 lbs. __ strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. __ Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Responsibilities

__ Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues on blow mold and packaging equipment.
__ Perform changeovers, setups, and adjustments on blow molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
__ Tear down and rebuild equipment including motors, gearboxes, clutches, bearings, hydraulic pumps, and electrical components.
__ Maintain, repair, and optimize Uniloy, Bekum, or similar blow molding systems.
__ Service production support equipment such as air compressors, dryers, chillers, and conveyors.
__ Work with AC (480?120V) and low-voltage DC controls for troubleshooting.
__ Support operators and production supervisors to resolve equipment-related issues.
__ Improve changeover efficiency and help enhance preventive maintenance processes.
__ Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements.
