_ Job Summary The Reach Driver / Material Handler is responsible for safely storing, moving, and handling products and materials in a structured manufacturing environment. This role requires reliability, attention to detail, and adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs) and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate stand-up reach trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and handcarts
  
  
• Pick, replenish, shuttle, load, and unload materials
  
  
• Feed production lines as scheduled
  
  
• Ship and receive materials throughout the shift
  
  
• Maintain inventory accuracy and proper labeling
  
  
• Count, weigh, and record materials moved
  
  
• Perform housekeeping and maintain 5S standards
  
  
• Follow all safety policies and procedures
  
  

_ Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  
  
• Must be 18 years of age
  
  
• Forklift certification or ability to obtain within 90 days
  
  
• Prior material handling experience a plus
  
  
• Ability to read and write in English preferred
  
  
• Teamwork and communication skills
  
  
• Must be able to work overtime and across shifts as needed
  
  

Physical & Work Environment

• Manufacturing setting with machinery, noise, and varying temperatures
  
  
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
  
  
• Standing up to 80% of the shift
  
  
• Walking, climbing, reaching, and balancing throughout the day

Responsibilities

• Identifies, transports, packs, removes and disposes of products and materials.
• Operates stand-up reach, forklifts, handcarts, or pallet jacks to pick, replenish, shuttle, and load/unload orders.
• Maintain inventory levels as directed.
• Feed lines with product as scheduled or directed by supervision or line leads.
• Ship and receive materials throughout duration of shift.
• Operate all equipment in a safe manner.
• Count, weigh, record numbers of units or materials moved or handled.
• Ensure that product moved is identified and labeled correctly.
• Perform required housekeeping to maintain 5S and keep work areas clean, such as sweeping floors, putting trash into containers, and picking stray product up from the floor.
• Performs all other duties as assigned.
