We are looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Operations Manger/Warehouse Manager to oversee our daily receiving and inventory functions. This role is a blend of high-level coordination and active floor management. You will be responsible for ensuring that goods move through our facility efficiently?from the moment they hit the dock to their final dispatch?while leading a team dedicated to accuracy and safety.
Key Responsibilities
- Workflow Coordination: Plan and oversee daily receiving, loading, unloading, and staging activities to ensure all deadlines are met.
- Inventory Integrity: Manage all aspects of inventory control, utilizing warehouse management software to monitor stock levels and verify physical counts against system data.
- Team Leadership: Schedule and assign tasks to warehouse staff. You will be responsible for continuous training, coaching, and evaluating performance to maintain a high standard of excellence.
- Quality Control: Ensure all incoming goods are inspected for damage and cross-referenced with purchase orders for 100% accuracy.
- Safety & Maintenance: Enforce strict compliance with safety standards and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
- Operational Support: Coordinate with purchasing and logistics teams for timely stock replenishment and assist the Distribution Center Operations Manager with daily tasks.

Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate daily receiving activities to meet deadlines.
- Oversee the receiving process, ensuring all received goods are checked against purchase orders and inspected for missing or damaged items.
- Be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of inventory control.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing and logistics teams by utilizing systems to ensure timely replenishment of stock.
- Continuously training and evaluating warehouse staff
- Ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Oversees tasks such as loading, unloading, sorting, picking, stocking, staging, fabrication, and transportation of goods.
- Performs tasks in warehouse management software program.
- Load and unload materials to and from the designated storage area, such as racks, shelves, or vehicles. Stack or pile materials, such as lumber, boards, or pallets.
- Verify computations against the physical count of stock.
- Oversees condition of work area (i.e. free of trash, product in the correct location,
etc.). - Oversees material handling process, including receiving and filling orders.
- May drive the truck to pick up incoming stock or deliver materials to designated
- Completes warehouse operational requirements by scheduling and assigning
employees and following up on work results. - Responsible for training warehouse staff on best practices, coaching, and
counseling staff - Assists distribution center operations manager
