A well-established manufacturing facility is seeking an experienced Pharmaceutical/Nutraceutical Mechanic to join our maintenance team. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth operation, repair, and optimization of high-speed production and packaging equipment in a regulated GMP environment.

Responsibilities:

Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing, blending, encapsulation, tablet pressing, coating, and packaging machinery.
Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime.
Conduct equipment changeovers, setups, and adjustments to meet production schedules.
Maintain compliance with FDA, GMP, and safety standards during all maintenance activities.
Inspect, repair, and replace components such as bearings, gears, motors, conveyors, pumps, and seals.
Work closely with production and quality teams to ensure equipment reliability and product quality.
Document all maintenance activities in accordance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce downtime, and extend equipment lifespan.

Qualifications:

Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in a pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, food, or related GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.
solid working knowledge of tablet presses, encapsulators, blister packers, bottling lines, and mixers.
Proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting; basic electrical skills preferred.
Familiarity with PLC-controlled equipment a plus.
Ability to read mechanical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
solid communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or overtime as required.
