A well-established manufacturing facility is seeking an experienced Pharmaceutical/Nutraceutical Mechanic to join our maintenance team. This role is critical to ensuring the smooth operation, repair, and optimization of high-speed production and packaging equipment in a regulated GMP environment.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative, predictive, and corrective maintenance on manufacturing, blending, encapsulation, tablet pressing, coating, and packaging machinery.
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems to minimize downtime.
• Conduct equipment changeovers, setups, and adjustments to meet production schedules.
• Maintain compliance with FDA, GMP, and safety standards during all maintenance activities.
• Inspect, repair, and replace components such as bearings, gears, motors, conveyors, pumps, and seals.
• Work closely with production and quality teams to ensure equipment reliability and product quality.
• Document all maintenance activities in accordance with SOPs and regulatory guidelines.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, reduce downtime, and extend equipment lifespan.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 5 years of maintenance experience in a pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, food, or related GMP-regulated manufacturing environment.
• solid working knowledge of tablet presses, encapsulators, blister packers, bottling lines, and mixers.
• Proficiency in mechanical troubleshooting; basic electrical skills preferred.
• Familiarity with PLC-controlled equipment a plus.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, schematics, and manuals.
• solid communication skills and the ability to work independently or in a team.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends or overtime as required.
