Join a premier, specialized technology provider in the Chicago (Hoffman Estates, IL) area and take the lead role in driving sales for cutting-edge ultra-precision encoder and measurement devices. This high-level, autonomous position is key to expanding market share within a multi-state territory.

Reporting to the Sales & Marketing Manager, you will be responsible for managing direct accounts and distribution networks, consistently exceeding monthly and annual sales goals.

responsibilities:
  • B2B Sales Expertise (5+ Years Preferred): Proven experience in managing direct customers and/or distribution networks, demonstrating product features, and generating consistent new business growth.



  • Specialized Product Knowledge (Preferred): Previous experience with ultra-precision machining, optical metrology, motion control, or positioning systems (e.g., Heidenhain, Renishaus, Mitutoyo, etc.) is highly valued.



  • Strategic Execution: Ability to formulate monthly business plans, manage sales budgets, provide detailed sales forecasting (CRM), and execute corrective actions to exceed territory targets.



  • High Mobility Required: Must be prepared for significant travel, not to exceed 75%, throughout the assigned multi-state territory, including attendance at industry trade shows.
