We are seeking an energetic, customer-service-oriented Leasing Agent to join the team at a premier 112-unit apartment community in South Sacramento. As the first point of contact for prospective residents, you will be the face of the community, driving lease-up goals and ensuring a high-quality living experience for all residents.
To be considered for this role, candidates must meet all of the following criteria:
- Licensing & Transport: Must possess a valid Driver?s License and have reliable transportation.
- Availability: Ability to work weekend hours as required and maintain a punctual, reliable schedule.
- Professional Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in residential leasing, or equivalent experience in high-end sales, hospitality, or customer service.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Outlook. (Experience with Yardi is a significant plus).
- Communication: Very strong verbal and written communication skills with a professional and friendly demeanor.
- Operational Traits: Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of multi-tasking in a fast-paced office environment.
- Physical Ability: Ability to remain active, including walking the property for tours and inspections, climbing stairs, and occasional lifting/bending.

Responsibilities
- Cheerfully respond to phone and email inquiries, and convert qualified leads into on-site tours of the apartments and community
- Successfully lease apartments and maintain an effective closing ratio
- Process applications and prepare all lease and related documents based on company practices
- Facilitate the move-in process, including inspections of apartments to ensure they are move-in ready based on set quality standards
- Provide excellent customer service to residents to provide the highest quality living experience
- Contribute to all resident retention efforts including implementing retention programs and planning community events
- Assist with implementation of marketing strategies and maintain awareness of market conditions and trends
- Perform day-to-day administrative tasks of the leasing office or additional projects as needed
- May perform other duties as assigned
