In this role you will be responsible for developing and improving manufacturing processes, leading cross-functional projects, and driving operational excellence within a high-mix, HVAC-related manufacturing environment.

A bachelor's degree in an engineering field is required, along with a minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing engineering role, in a senior or leadership capacity. The candidate must have a proven track record of implementing process improvement initiatives and driving operational excellence, as well as knowledge of manufacturing principles, practices, and standards.

Preferred Industry: HVAC manufacturing (not required)

Must Have: Lean Manufacturing background

Familiar with ERP systems, project management, and production metrics. Must be hands on and have high volume production backround!!

responsibilities:

Design and improve manufacturing processes (HVAC components/systems)
Reduce waste and increase efficiency using Lean & Six Sigma tools
Create and maintain work instructions, process documentation
Lead/support capital projects, equipment installs, and production line changes
Collaborate with cross-functional teams for product launches and engineering changes
Manage project scope, timeline, and budget
Lead cost, cycle time, and improvement initiatives
Improve operations in areas such as assembly, sheet metal, copper depot, and E-box
Conduct root cause analysis, time studies, ergonomic assessments, line balancing
Ensure safety, quality, and compliance with regulatory standards (e.g. ISO)
Partner with QA to resolve non-conformances and implement controls
Provide hands-on production floor support
Evaluate and recommend tooling, fixtures, equipment upgrades
