We are seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist with deep Workday experience to manage our multi-state payroll operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Remote Multi-State Payroll: Process data entry for multi-state payroll under strict deadlines, ensuring total compliance with all applicable state and federal laws.

  • Vendor Coordination: Partner with external vendors on state filings and oversee the accurate execution of multiple payroll cycles across various time zones.

  • Data Integrity: Review payroll inputs from various internal sources to ensure 100% accuracy for every pay period.

  • Employee Support: Serve as a primary contact for employees nationwide, assisting with online changes to tax withholdings, direct deposit information, and payroll inquiries.

  • Benefits Reconciliation: Reconcile 401(k) contributions and ensure the proper allocation of funds to employee accounts.

  • Audit & Reporting: Maintain meticulous payroll records and generate custom reports for internal reviews and audits.

  • Process Improvement: Support the implementation of Workday system enhancements and identify opportunities for workflow automation.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work virtually with HR and Finance teams to resolve complex payroll issues and ensure seamless data integration.

Qualifications
  • Workday Proficiency: Expert-level knowledge of Workday Payroll is a mandatory requirement.

  • Multi-State Experience: Proven track record in multi-state payroll processing within a large, distributed organization.

  • Remote Efficacy: Ability to work independently and manage strict deadlines in a home-office environment.

  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy in data entry and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

  • Communication: strong interpersonal skills with the ability to provide high-level customer service to a remote workforce.



salary: $80,000 - $90,000 per year
