Responsibilities

Responsibilities

  • Tax Compliance: Responsible for the accurate and timely preparation and filing of complex federal and state tax returns, including Form 1040 (High-Net-Worth) and Form 1041 (Estates, Trusts, and Charitable Foundations).

  • Tax Resolution & Planning: Focus on advanced tax problem resolution, analysis, and handling all related compliance filings (e.g., extensions, amendments).

  • Expert Tax Consultation: Provide expert-level tax advice to senior management, actively researching and resolving inquiries to ensure strict compliance with changing tax codes.

  • Leadership & Quality Control (QC): Serve as a subject matter expert and resource for junior tax staff, offering guidance on complex filings and contributing to the review process of completed tax work.

  • Independent Project Management: Independently manage, prioritize, and track multiple projects, ensuring all tax filings are accurately completed and submitted on schedule under pressure.
