In this role, you will:  Read blueprints/CAD files and machine components to tight tolerances, Operate lathes, mills, grinders, and EDM equipment, Troubleshoot and adjust dies for maximum performance and Perform preventive maintenance to keep production running smoothly.

Location: Palmetto/Tyrone, GA  Pay: $30 to $35/hour based on experience Shift: First M-F (short day on Fridays)

Responsibilities

• Interpret blueprints, CAD drawings, and specifications to plan tooling projects.
   
• Build, assemble, and fit progressive, transfer, and blanking dies to precise tolerances.
   
• Operate manual and CNC lathes, milling machines, grinders, and EDM equipment to fabricate die components.
   
• Perform die maintenance, including sharpening, regrinding, and replacing worn components.
   
• Troubleshoot die issues during production, making adjustments to improve performance and reduce downtime.
   
• Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, CMM) to verify dimensions and quality.
   
• Collaborate with engineering and production to optimize tooling design and processes.
   
• Maintain accurate documentation of die repairs, modifications, and preventive maintenance.
   

Follow all safety protocols, including lockout/tagout and PPE requirements, and maintain a clean, organized work area.
