Location: Hanover Park, IL Shift: 1st Shift | 6:00 AM ? 3:30 PM | Monday?Friday Pay: $27?$35/hr DOE

Role Summary: Randstad USA is hiring Tooling Technicians for a direct hire opportunity in Hanover Park, IL. This role focuses on repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting injection molds used in high-volume plastic production. Qualifications & Skills:

High School Diploma or GED required
2+ years of experience repairing plastic injection molds
Skilled in using manual mold shop equipment and tools
strong troubleshooting and mechanical abilities
Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills
Must work well within a team and communicate effectively
Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment preferred

Compensation & Benefits:

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and repair of plastic injection molds
Use manual machines and tooling equipment to perform corrective actions
Diagnose tooling issues, test molds, and track root causes
Maintain and track mold/component inventory levels and status
Store validated and non-validated tooling components appropriately
Document mold issues, repair solutions, and PM history to reduce downtime
Escalate recurring tooling failures through the proper channels
Follow all SOPs, safety standards, and quality procedures
Keep mold shop and machines clean and organized
Collaborate with production teams to ensure tooling readiness
Other duties as assigned
