The Vice President of Sales Operations will lead and develop all aspects of a $30M manufacturing and importing subsidiary that serves major home improvement retailers and distributors. This critical, fully onsite role, located in the Bronx, New York (9 AM - 5 PM), is responsible for driving operational excellence, strengthening key customer relationships, improving global sourcing efficiency, and supporting profitable growth. The VP of Sales Operations will partner closely with corporate leadership, with a defined succession path to become President.

salary: $125,000 - $165,000 per year

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Partner with senior leaders on business strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and P&L management.

  • Operations & CI: Oversee manufacturing/warehouse safety, quality, and cost control. Lead continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.

  • Sales & Customers: Collaborate with Sales to manage key accounts, including big box home improvement retailers and national distributors. Strengthen customer partnerships.

  • Global Supply Chain: Manage sourcing (domestic & international - e.g., China, Vietnam). Optimize landed cost, quality, lead times, and inventory.

  • Administration: Ensure accurate financial reporting, HR compliance, and facility management.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor?s in Business, Operations, Supply Chain, or Engineering.

  • Proven leadership in a complex operational setting.

  • Experience with major retailers (home improvement/big box preferred).

  • Financial acumen (P&L/cost management).

  • Preferred: Global sourcing experience and prior general management/senior leadership succession history.
