Hours: Full Time (5am ? 3pm) The Receiving Supervisor is a vital support role to the Warehouse Manager, focused on maintaining a proficient receiving dock and ensuring inventory accuracy.
As a Receiving Supervisor, you will be key to the smooth functioning of our operations:
- Dock Management: Supervise and organize the receiving dock, ensuring it flows efficiently, and trucks are received in a timely manner.
- Inventory & Inspection: Assist in receiving and inventory management, making sure the inventory is accurate and in date. You will also be responsible for the inspection and verification of all inbound freight, confirming product received is correct and in date.
- Food Safety & Security: Ensure and maintain a food-safe environment on the dock. You will support and maintain the HACCP program as a team member and play a key role in ensuring food safety and security plans are effectively implemented within operations.
- Teamwork & Communication: Work as a team member with Department Leaders and assist in communicating with department supervisors and managers regarding ingredient issues.
- Procedure Implementation: May assist in implementing policy or procedure changes and ensure they are effectively communicated as appropriate.
Required Experience: A combination of education, training, and experience (5+ years) that results in demonstrated competency to perform the work is required, including previous Supervisor experience. If you are ready to take on a challenging and rewarding supervisory role, apply today!
