responsibilities:

• Developing the necessary knowledge and tools to successfully maintain and improve the equipment and processes of our division
  
  
• Assisting with preventative maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of mill equipment including, but not limited to: AC/DC drive units, PLC's, HMI's, and overhead cranes
  
  
• Providing support to the maintenance and operations team
  
  
• Developing and promoting safe work practices for maintaining plant equipment
  
  
• Applying technical knowledge to solve problems with plant equipment
  
  
• Taking care of our customers by executing the division's safety, quality, cost, productivity, and profitability objectives
  
  
• 2 or 4 year degree in Electrical Technology/Engineering prefered
  
  
• Two years of electrical maintenance experience.
  
  
• Experience with PLC's, VFD's, and controls
