A growing law firm servicing the mortgage industry in Maryland, Virginia and DC seeks an Attorney to join the Bankruptcy group.  Position is in office the first 60 days, then hybird in office 2-3 days/week in Richmond, VA. There is no billable hour requirement as the firm uses set fees. Work hours are 9 am - 5:30 pm.  Position requires (i) a license in VA, MD or DC; (ii) 1+ year of experience with bankruptcy law/creditors' rights. Includes salary, bonus + comprehensive benefits (insurance, 401K, pto, etc).

salary: $90,000 - $140,000 per year

Responsibilities

Draft bankruptcy motions and other filings;
Attend hearings and court appearances;
Communicate with clients, internal staff and others to ensure cases are handledappropriately;
Prioritize and manage a high volume of files with a great attention to detail and understrict deadlines;
Perform quality control reviews of documents and staff work; and
Demonstrate a proficiency in inputting and maintaining information into a casemanagement system to ensure data integrity.
