salary: $44,600 - $66,500 per year

Responsibilities

  • Chemical Processing: Perform cleaning, etching, anodizing, passivation, and conversion coating per approved specifications and customer requirements.

  • Solution Management: Monitor and maintain chemical baths by measuring concentrations, temperatures, and pH levels; ensure immersion times meet process controls.

  • Part Handling: Safely load/unload parts using proper fixturing and racks to prevent damage or contamination.

  • Quality Control: Visually and dimensionally inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify conformance to blueprints.

  • Compliance & Records: Maintain accurate batch records, travelers, and logs; identify and report process deviations or equipment malfunctions immediately.

  • Environmental Safety: Label, store, and dispose of chemical waste according to company and regulatory policies.

  • Maintenance: Perform preventive cleaning of tanks and work areas in accordance with 5S and housekeeping standards.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3?4 years of experience in metal finishing or chemical processing with a mastery of SDS, PPE, and hazard communication.
  • Ability to calculate concentrations, ratios, and process parameters with 100% accuracy.
  • Expert at reading blueprints, process specifications, and complex instructions.
  • Commitment to consistent use of respirators, face shields, and chemical-resistant gear.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, perform repetitive manual tasks, and work in environments with fumes and varying temperatures.
