We are searching for a Chief Building Engineer in downtown Denver, CO. Candidates should have 5+ years of leadership experience with facilities engineering for office, commercial, educational or industrial properties. Candidates must have either a Boiler or Refrigeration Operator Certificate and a Universal EPA Certification. A Stationary Engineer license is preferred but not required.

This is a direct hire role with great benefits(medical, dental, PTO, etc.).

responsibilities:

• Plan, Supervise and direct the work and the work force in the Engineering unit, including maintenance of mechanical and HVAC infrastructure and equipment, plumbing, grounds, and facility finishes, and provision of client utility services in adherence with safety requirements/codes.
  
  
• Direct the installation, maintenance and repair of mechanical, plumbing, grounds, HVAC equipment and apparatus and facility finishes throughout the center
  
  
• Oversee operations of outside vendors/contractors performing work particularly to the engineering department
  
  
• Make Engineering crew work assignments
