Our Construction & Engineering client is looking for a Civil Engineer to join their team in Las Vegas. As a Civil Engineer you will be responsible for the designing, planning, and overseeing the construction and maintenance of infrastructure projects within the commercial sector. This includes land development, water resources, and other utilities for commercial development. Our client offers a robust benefit package including 100% Medical paid.

responsibilities:

• Lead the design and production of detailed grading and earthwork plans, ensuring site functionality, optimal drainage patterns, and compliance with ADA accessibility standards
  
  
• Engineer complex water and wastewater systems, including pipe sizing, pressure network modeling, and gravity sewer layouts
  
  
• Conduct rigorous drainage studies and stormwater modeling to design effective management systems, including storm sewers, culverts, and water quality treatment facilities (BMPs)
  
  
• Project Management: Oversee the planning and scheduling of project timelines and coordinating with contractors, architects, and construction teams
  
  
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all designs comply with local, state, and federal regulations, zoning laws, and building codes.

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
  
  
• Requires a Professional Engineer (P.E.) License in Nevada (or the ability to obtain within a year)
