Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities
- Setup & Changeover: Perform complex setups on CNC Lathes (including [Insert Brands, e.g., Haas, Mazak, Mori Seiki]), including installing chucks, collets, and specialty work-holding.
- Tooling: Select, assemble, and preset cutting tools. Set tool offsets and perform dry runs to ensure program integrity.
- Blueprints & Specs: Interpret technical drawings and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) symbols to ensure parts meet all dimensional requirements.
- First-Article Inspection: Use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, bore gages, optical comparators) to verify the first part before handing off to production.
