About the Role We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Lathe Setup Machinist to join our precision manufacturing team. In this role, you won't just be pushing buttons; you will be the technical lead responsible for taking a job from a blueprint to a finished first-article part.

You will work with aerospace alloys and metals to produce high-tolerance components for the aerospace industry. What You Bring to the Table

Responsibilities

Core Responsibilities

Setup & Changeover: Perform complex setups on CNC Lathes (including [Insert Brands, e.g., Haas, Mazak, Mori Seiki]), including installing chucks, collets, and specialty work-holding.
Tooling: Select, assemble, and preset cutting tools. Set tool offsets and perform dry runs to ensure program integrity.
Blueprints & Specs: Interpret technical drawings and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) symbols to ensure parts meet all dimensional requirements.
First-Article Inspection: Use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, bore gages, optical comparators) to verify the first part before handing off to production.
