We are seeking a CNC/Manual Machinist for a manufacturing company in New Britain, CT. The ideal candidate will be someone who has experience setting up and operating CNC Machines. This company manufactures very large aerospace parts. Someone with experience working on large machines, producing large parts, is a plus. 

salary: $58,000 - $73,000 per year

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC Machines (manufacturing large aerospace parts)
• Works from drawings and operation sheets
• Perform deburring and inspection of machined parts using precision hand tools
• Able to work Independently with minimal supervision
• Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
• Maintains a clean work environment and Shop Floor (Tools, Equipment, Machines, etc.)
• Communicates to supervisor when tools need to be reordered.
