Commercial Painting Estimator
85-95k + Annual Bonus up to 20%
Summary: The Estimator is responsible for assisting with the preparation and/or coordination of complete and accurate estimates on projects. In addition, the Estimator will assist in the preparation of the proposal package, which includes but is not limited to quantity surveys, pricing, alternates, and/or clarifications. As a key role in our organization, the Estimator is expected to build effective relationships with team members, external customers, clients, suppliers and subcontractors.

Responsibilities
Familiarize oneself with product systems including application instruction and product data sheets
Prepare complete quantity take-offs, analysis, estimates, and studies for all items incorporated in the assigned scope
Prepare detailed estimates based on construction drawings and specifications
Analyze contract documents (plans, specifications, etc.) to determine any required scope
Obtain and evaluate subcontractor/vendor proposals relative to their scope of work and determine if scope is covered
Calculate the job cost based on information gathered during bid process
Ability to manage multiple preconstruction projects
Attend on-site pre-bid meetings and site visits
Builds effective relationships with team members, clients, subcontractors, and vendors
Detailed knowledge of pricing and costs for materials, labor, subcontractors and equipment for all trade disciplines
