Are you a skilled Controls Engineer looking to drive safety, efficiency, and quality for a top-tier automotive supplier?  You will be the core technical resource responsible for maintaining and updating equipment control systems. Key focus areas include new model launches, equipment installation, continuous improvement, and daily production support. What You Bring:

• Experience from an automotive, automotive supplier, or large press operation.
• Proficiency with industry-standard software (e.g., RSLogix 5000/Studio 5000, Step 7, Sysmac Studio, GX Works).
• Experience with Industrial Robotic integration (e.g., ABB, Yaskawa Motoman, Fanuc).
• 2+ years of related work/school experience.
• Degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering.
• Required: Successful completion of a written and hands-on exam (combined score of 60%+).

Responsibilities

• Perform PLC/HMI/Robotic troubleshooting and program development.
• Read, update, and develop electrical schematics using CAD software.
• Develop and implement safety, quality, and production countermeasures.
• Manage project work with outside contractors across multiple locations (travel generally <10%).
