Candidate must have prior leadership skills and experience from within a manufacturing environment. Client is offering a base salary, profit sharing bonuses and full benefits/401 K.

responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the engineering department, including product, manufacturing, process, and project engineering teams.
  
  
• Develop and implement engineering strategies that improve manufacturing processes, product quality, and energy efficiency.
  
  
• Oversee process control and electrical engineering activities to ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as production, quality assurance, and supply chain to support seamless operations and continuous improvement.
  
  
• Manage engineering projects from concept through completion, ensuring timely delivery within budget and scope.
  
  
• Drive energy management initiatives to optimize resource utilization and reduce environmental impact.
  
  
• Mentor and develop engineering staff, fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and professional growth.
  
  
• Analyze engineering data and metrics to identify opportunities for process enhancements and cost savings.
  
  
• Manage and approve/deny capital projects.
  
  
• Contribute productivity improvements & commit the profit based on Metglas mid-term plan.
