Responsibilities

• Engine & Powertrain Service: Diagnose and repair large-bore diesel engines (e.g., Cummins, Caterpillar, Detroit Diesel) including fuel injection systems, turbochargers, and emissions controls.
  
  
• Advanced Hydraulics: Troubleshoot and overhaul high-pressure hydraulic systems, including pumps, valves, cylinders, and multi-stage telescoping booms.
  
  
• Structural Inspections: Conduct rigorous periodic inspections of wire ropes, sheaves, hooks, and load-bearing structural welds to ensure zero-fail operational integrity.
  
  
• Electronic Diagnostics: Utilize OEM software to interface with Load Moment Indicators (LMI), anti-two-block systems, and computerized engine control modules.
  
  
• Field Emergency Response: Travel to job sites across Palm Beach County to perform "break-fix" repairs under tight deadlines to minimize costly construction downtime.
  
  
• Compliance Documentation: Maintain detailed logs of all Annual, Monthly, and Shift inspections in accordance with OSHA 1926.1400 regulations.
