We are looking for a detail-obsessed CNC Deburr Technician who understands that the difference between a high-performance component and a scrap-bin failure lies in the final touch. As the "last line of defense," you won't just be removing burrs; you will be the guardian of part integrity, translating complex blueprints into flawless surfaces. salary: $42,000 - $56,499.99 per year

Responsibilities

  • Part Finishing: Remove burrs, sharp edges, and surface imperfections from machined parts using hand/power tools and deburring equipment per work instructions.

  • Quality Inspection: Visually and dimensionally inspect parts to ensure surfaces meet drawing and blueprint specifications without altering critical tolerances.

  • Technical Interpretation: Read and interpret blueprints, routers, and work orders to determine specific deburring requirements.

  • Documentation: Verify part conformance using calipers and micrometers; document production counts, inspection results, and nonconformances.

  • Maintenance & Safety: Perform basic preventive maintenance on tools; maintain a clean, organized work area (5S standards) and strictly follow PPE/safety protocols.

  • Collaboration: Work with machinists and engineering to communicate quality issues and support continuous improvement efforts.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Experience: 0?1 years of relevant manufacturing experience; High School Diploma or equivalent.

  • Technical: Ability to use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, gauges) and mastery of basic shop math (fractions/decimals).

  • Physical: Specific vision abilities (close/distance/depth perception); ability to stand for 10+ hours and lift/move up to 50 lbs.

  • Soft Skills: High attention to detail, acute problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative team-player attitude.
