A growing, mid-sized law firm seeks a Defense Litigation Associate to provide defense of general liability claims. Role is in the office 2 days/week. Position requires (a) an active license to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey; and (b) 1+ year of general liability defense experience. Includes a salary of $90,000-120,000, annual bonus and comprehensive benefits.

Responsibilities

• Analyze complex legal and factual issues and conduct well-reasoned legal research.
• Draft pleadings, answer written discovery, take depositions, and participate in arbitrations and trials.
• Communicate with clients, the court, witnesses, opposing counsel, and co-counsel while adhering to all deadlines.
• Ability to travel for court, client meetings, etc.
• Flexibility to work remotely with a willingness to come into the Philadelphia office as needed.
