In this role you will lead a team of CAD Technicians, providing the technical mentorship and quality oversight necessary to deliver safe, cost-effective building solutions. Your expertise in pre-engineered building (PEB) or conventional steel detailing will ensure that every project-from anchor rod layouts to complex erection drawings-meets rigorous standards for safety and efficiency.

This role also comes with a annual Performance Sharing Program bonus of 10% of your salary

Qualifications

• An Associate or 2-year technical degree or 6 additional years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
  
  
• 6+ years of pre-engineered building or conventional steel detailing experience
  
  
• Proven experience leading complex projects and providing direction to multiple technicians.

responsibilities:

• Creating detailed fabrication, erection, permit, and anchor rod drawings based on engineering designs.
  
  
• Uploading, editing, and releasing parts into the manufacturing system.
  
  
• Collaborating with project teams to address design issues and maintain efficient, cost-effective progress.
  
  
• Supporting production schedules, departmental targets, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  
  
• Performing quality checks on drawings and deliverables.
  
  
• Providing leadership, coaching, and technical guidance to Detailing Team members.
  
  
• Helping develop and maintain standardized processes while growing your technical and product expertise.
